Challenge Bowie

This is the "Challenge Bowie" I made one evening to push my friend Huck (one of the characters on the Moonshiners series). I show him stuff I've done and next time I see him he's done one, very gifted fella for sure.
Well this ol' farriers rasp was sitting around notdoinnuttin so ...... Look closely, all the steel work is out of that one rasp except for the acorn on the butt, which is wrought iron - all one piece. The guard/pommel are hammered copper with copper pins and the handle is black locust. Next one will look a sight better as I rushed through this one, plus a learning curve issue with the handle and fittings. Getting it to fit all together before final button-up was a bit of a task.
Think I got it figured out, if I can remember next time. This blade is only 16" as I needed a little meat for the tang.
