CMHC Pictorial - 2023 Food Plots

@SlowMotion asked about the fall plots. I have been seriously under the weather but will add these images.

Have some summer plots still holding on and we added about 10 acres of winter plots. Main goal is feed the deer. Some will get shot, obviously.

Oats base.

Brassicas over top or white clover over the oats.

Will try to keep pics going.

Just need rain now and I see basically no chance any time soon.

Seems strange to own most of it.

A few of the plots are on our leased ground, though.

Looking forward to feeding them up.

My 70 year old brother killed his 4th or 5th deer on our place last weekend - over a 3 year period. These are the first deer in his life. That pleases me greatly.

No he ain’t camera shy. It was just a 101 lb doe. If u put that joker in a stand, he starts shooting.

He has never been to our place that he did not kill one. Every trip….

I am still not at work. Been to clinic and did not get better - called them up and they prescribed a Z pac which I am almost through now.

May try to go to work this afternoon.
