Crappie location for the kids?

I have an opportunity to get my kids out this saturday and I'd like to get them on some crappie. They've never caught them before and it's been a long time for me. I'll be in a 16' carolina skiff with a 3 hp motor and a decent fish finder. I live right between Lanier, Hartwell, and Oconee. I'm not asking for anyone to give away their honey holes, but can someone suggest where I might could put in and easily locate some schools?

Oconee...put in at JR's at Lick Creek go right under the bridge and start looking along the creek channel. When you get to the 2nd bridge that long cove on the right has some decent brush piles/stumps in it. The 1st cove on your right just past the apartments is another spot to check.

Might be kind of tough after all this rain, but a bad day fishing beats sitting on the couch watching TV.

Always had good luck on Oconee. Probably going to be muddy no matter where you go..after this week of monsoons!
