This morning was my 2nd hunt ever I called once at 720 and immediately a bird responded so I sat for a few minutes and hit him again but he was much closer but he was in one county and I was in another with a river between us always been told bird won't cross big water Nobody told him he come over sounded like somebody kicked a basketball through the palmettos he come in fast he was at 20 feet before I knew it He busted me tryin to turn on him he was gone quick as he came in But I can say I am officially hooked Should I leave him alone for a day or so or try him again in the mornin ?

I called one across the Oconee river a few years ago. A hot 2 year old. He gobbled 200 times or more. Dbl and triple gobbling. It happens. Just not vary often
