Do you need a bow stringer for a 52# hunting bow. If so which one.

I see on the internet 2 ways to string a bow; legs or bow stringer. My bow is 52#. I am fairly strong but want to do the safest method. Which method do you think is best for me. When a kid, I did the leg method. Also if a bow stringer, which one has best bang for the buck. Thanks for all replies.

Stringer would be the better method. Less chance of self or bow damage and much easier.

I have a few different ones made by different companies but can’t really say one is better than another- just make sure you get one for the style of bow you have- recurve or long bow
