Fireman32 Jr #2 on the board.

"Useless Billy" Fire Chief.
Met up with @Gaswamp this morning to chase some turkeys. Warm, muggy and enough skeeters to tote you off, but turkey killing is serious business.
Heard one or two gobbles way off early, but they were mostly tight lipped until about 8:00. Had two Tom’s gobble pretty close and they had a angry hen with them. Swamp got to working his calling magic and here they came. The dominant bird was gobbling and drumming coming in hot, when Jr knocked him down. 27 yds, 20 gauge with #5 longboards.
19 pound bird, 7/8” spurs and 9 inch beard. Jrs 5th career bird.81A2B5EA-FA2F-43C7-AF75-24B2E8BEB28E.jpeg

not so great turkey weather and slow start. We already had the passion but had to b patient and persevere. Great experience for Luke and good memory for us all to share
