First Bow for 5 Year Old?

Any recommendations for a little boys first bow for Christmas? I grew up shooting little cheap bows with no sights for my first but curious if there’s a little compound you would recommend?

Both Bear and Barnett make some youth models that are great for that age. All three of my kids had various models.

I think 10-15 lb draw is about right. Get some extra cheap arrows and look for one of those whisker biscuits so they shoot right.

That is what I got my son when he was young, now 19 and 6'2" can still use it.

Diamond Atomic…he can grow with it for awhile…my 8 yr old granddaughter been shootin hers since she was 5! She said she needed her harness too, she’s 5 there..get him shootin!

New matthews, big mechanical broadheads, high dollar carbon arrows, expensive release, hard carry case, soft carry case, stabilizers, kickstand, ozonics, ozonics closet thing, all the attractants LOL.

Got my youngest a little purple bear bow, was pretty fun to shoot actually.
