I had been in a three year drought with the stick n string but changed that real quick this morning with the cold weather. I've been hunting 2 real mature bucks all year but this morning I had made up my mind to take a mature doe. I climb up early in my lock on and immediately had deer all over me before light. Shooting light comes and wind switches and I get busted. I didn't see anything until the sun started hitting the ground then the woods exploded with deer. Ended the morning seeing 13 does and one little buck. This ole gal gave me a slightly quartering away 18 yard shot. She ran about 30 yards before running full speed right into a tree and did a back flip.
