My nieces {9 and 7} want to fishing for the first time. They live in Canton GA. Any suggestions on where to take them? I'd love to take them to a farm pond for their first trip.

three words.....bluegill, bluegill, bluegill. Wherever you go make sure they have them. Kids need constant action, which only bluegills can dependably provide. Small hooks, light tackle it's the most fun kids (and adults) can have IMHO.
