First in a long time

Haven't tied anything in at least 10 years. Maybe 15. Was never skilled but always enjoyed it. Materials had been packed away in the basement. Had to throw out a bunch of stuff. Several necks were moldy. Some stuff was simply falling apart. Was bad about picking up feathers i found and tieing up stuff that looked good to me. The fish occasionally liked em. Sat down and tied up a few of nothing in particular. #12 hook A few barbules from a crow feather for a tail. Died beaver dubbing and a hackle that looks kinda green in the pic but is actually grey.

When I was a kid I used to tie a chenille body, grizzly hackle and grizzly tail, ride my bike to a local trout stream and catch fish. Simple but effective.
