Just getting into the hobby and would like to purchase any gear anyone no longer uses.
I do not have anything and open to any suggestions.

I would try posting this down in the want to buy/want to trade forum.
IMO, the Griffin Spider Odyssey vice is the best one out there for the money. You don't have to have a $350 Renzetti to tie flies.
You will also need bobbins, some GOOD scissors, a whip finisher, bodkin, and such. Materials will depend on what kind of flies you want to tie. You can start small and gradually work your way into bankruptcy. :)

Thanks HIllbilly, I did post in the trade forum,

I appreciate the vise advice, I have tied a few flies with veteran fly fishing groups I have joined. They furnish all the stuff. Basic stuff is what I hope to do first. Crawl before I try to run. LOL
