X 100 on Cades Cove and the Roaring Fork Motor Trail. Wife and I are going up in June for a few days. Nothing showing on the calendar of events so it shouldn't be too bad, traffic-wise.

It's a tourist trap. No more. No less. Your money would be better spent and probably doubled elsewhere. Just my 2 cents. I'm not wasting my money there. Much better options available.

If I were you, I'd take a look at Knoxville. Get on the river if you can. It's a great place. About the size of Athens. From there as a base, plenty to do in a short drive from that area. Your room will have a list of "must see" stuff.
