I am thinking about buying a Glock 22 police trade in and having the frame cut down to 27 size. So I can have a long barrel short grip frame carry/fun gun.
now here is the tricky part. I also have a Glock 34 gen3. could I take the 40 cal slide off the 22 frame and slide on the Glock 9mm 34 slide and barrel and shoot 9mm out of the same Glock 22 frame? I have read that it might require a ejector swap as well. Any idea if this will work?
Why you might ask?
so I can have a sub compact frame with the flex ability to shoot 9mm 40SW and 357sig in one frame size and still have the long sight radius and rail option.
