Hog sleeping in the corn

Have y’all ever seen a hog sleep in ya corn pile

Only a dirt nap.and leaking.

We was dead asleep and our phones went off for tornado warnings and just so happens he was on the camera that had been going off for almost an hour.

One morning I was trying to decide which of two feeders to hunt.
They both had good sightings on trail cams so I just picked which I thought would be the best.
I sat till 11 and never saw a thing. Later I went to the other feeder and pulled the card from the cam.

When I got home and reviewed the card, there were six pigs huddled up and sleeping beside the feeder at 9:00 am.
Just my luck!

Several times seen them sleeping next to the feeder waiting for it to go off.

I guess they get acclimated to the timing. We feed our cats with an automatic feeder too. When it starts getting close to time for food to drop, those two start hanging out by the feeder. When critters get used to it, their internal clocks know!

Had a cage trap set one time and walked up to it to check it and there were 2 sleeping inside the trap that had been caught. Dispatched them both before they woke up
