Does anyone know the going price of a tractor trailer load of crickets are going for?
I would buy some if I could even hear some turkeys.
We have food plots, hardwoods, pines, swamp, pond and the property was burned a few months ago.
The landowner used to hear gobbles every morning, now it is rare. He did pass on two jakes a week ago so there are some birds there or at least were.
The hey day of turkey hunting has definitely passed.

Haven't seem any Jimmenies in the woods, but for bugs, woods are infested with tent wing moth caterpillars. They are everywhere. Gil

This all happens the month before elections for the Commissioner.

An “anonymous tip” told the Wardens he was hunting a 500 acre field baited with… crickets.

I don’t know the man. Don’t care how this trial goes. I do however feel that he was set up.
