I know it's a long shot, but...

Went and set five traps at The Goat Pen this morning.

We've gotten a few pics of this guy lately..



And then we got this pic...



We figured we'd try to help the little fawn out, and you can't catch him unless there are traps set.

Might get lucky!

And of course, it came a dern frog strangler all over my new sets...

Since I caught the coyote on the "horse apple" set, I decided to do something off the wall again.

On my way to set traps, I found a freshly road killed squirrel. I remade the set with duff that was still piled up from before, and added some fox pee. I tied the squirrel to a limb above the trap, just high enough he'll have to rear up to get at it.

If he stomps around much, he better be careful...



Can't wait to see what happens here...lol

Empty traps this morning...Had rain showers off and on all night. And the rest of the week ain't looking much better.

But, they are in the ground and well blended now!!
