Insane friends from the past

It’s hard to believe this happened. I traded a friend a car part for a jon boat back in 1990. He contacted me out of the blue after not speaking since 1997, and ask if I still had the jon boat. I said I gave it to my brother in law.

He ask if I could get it back as the part I traded broke and he wants to trade back.

I told him to never call me again and called him some choice words for his stupid request.

What is wrong with people?

Unless you two discussed a "lifetime transferable warranty" on the car part or the Jon boat this old friend is pulling a "George Costanza" on you!
