Kids and Tattoos

My middle son just turned 12. We are discussing his first tattoo. I think he should get the browning sign on his shoulder, but he wants it on his hand. My rule is it must be able to be covered.

My house my rules. Until they are no longer eating my food and sleeping under my roof, after that I still might not like it but the choice will then be theirs to make.

First tattoo at that age should be hidden by clothing. It should be a tattoo of the parents name and phone numbers. This only applies if the child refuses to wear one of the ID tags that you can have made at the local pet store.
