Last sit of the 2023 season! It was a beautiful evening to finish up on my Ga lease!

As the sun had set and there were minutes left for me…his dude came thru following a doe strange as it was..I just finished a text chatting with a bow brother about slingin an arrow every now and then…he just sent me a text sayin…the pursuit of mature bucks especially in your area doesn’t lend itself to slingin arrow very often…you need to let one fly if some bone happens by…less than 5 minutes later…the good lord delivers as he always does!!

Thanks everyone I appreciate the kind words!

This buck was one of several young bucks I grunted in early November and gave him a pass knowing in another year he’d be a real good one…but fate and a lady brought him by my lock-on one time too many!!

Funny thing I went and grab my camera earlier that day and notice a very fresh scrape nearby, as I have seen before this late…surrounded by gunners, slingin tons of corn and I don’t do either…it is very rewarding to take a buck with a bow around where I hunt anytime but a buzzer beater even a 3yr old is pretty strong!

The sticks or ladder are some I’ve had for years..wish I could find them again although the ”H” style where only 1 foot can go in I love these for the stand off distance and the fact you can grab them anywhere you want as you climb up or down…them the seat is a Millennium!
