Looking for input on lithium batteries suitable for a 30# trolling motor. Have a gheenoe that I use on a 100 acre pond. Run the motor intermittently for 3-4 hours. Been using a 35ah agm scooter battery, but it is starting to fail and won’t fully charge.
Lithium batteries have come down in price, don’t cost much more than comparable lead acid batteries. Because they are so much lighter and have a much longer life, thinking that is the way to go. A 35ah lithium battery only weighs 10 lbs which has me thinking about sizing up. Maybe 50ah?
