Maxxum 80# trolling motor

Pondering upgrading my tm. Does anyone know if minn kota is still making/selling the maxxum 80lb tm?

I've had good luck emailing them in the past for questions. All I've seen is the 65.

The only foot control Maxxum they offer on their site now is a 70 lb.

I don't quite understand how u would use spotlick to bass fish. I usually beat banks and docks. How would spotlick benefit me?

If you never stop it wouldn't. I fish docks, blow downs and points and it is good to spotlock and spend a little extra time on em from time to time plus it will really help you out on some off shore structure if you ever want to go that route.
