Spent Saturday and Sunday wetting a line with my boy in two different waterways. Gorgeous weather presented by Mother Nature for sure both days. Sunrise to sunset and beyond.
Saturday we waded a waterway enjoying the beauty of the plant and animal life, and my boy landed a few fish. One of which is either a rock bass or a shadow bass (I haven't delved into the distinction between the two.). Love the camo splotches pattern and Red eyes on this fish. Couple pics of fish and scenery.
On Sunday we paddled 3 hours up a creek, enjoying the beauty again presented by God and Mother Nature. Plants and animals were abundant and way better than any electronic image. My boy spotted a bald eagle and we watched from our kayaks until it flew off. We both landed Redeye bass and brim. And man I finally landed my first ROCK! I thought I was snagged, until it moved again and as I first saw it reeled in I thought freshwater clam, of course as I raised it out of the water I realized how rare my land was - a true rock! Never landed a rock before. Had to get those Hooks just right apparently. LOL
