More Wood Storks

The Wood Storks returned to my camera up Crooked Creek this past week...

Daaaaaaaaang what a beak !! I bet they're some fish eating fools !!

You see many Osprey there Cap'n?beautiful birds,,,,

That's one spooky critter right there. Sneaked into some bushes to take pictures of some. When they came into view focused on one bird. He heard the shutter click, looked in my direction and started backing up! Got behind the bushes again and took flight.

Max and I eased up on two in the canoe but I had no camera in hand. Their wings are trimmed in black and its neat to see them in flight.

A bunch of these showed up at our club a few weeks ago and they’re still here.

Over 4 ft high with a 5 ft or better wingspan.
