Mother's Day Chops

Happy Mother's Day to all of the women who keep us dummies straight for the other 364 days of the year!

Started the day out with a five mile, 54 degree hike followed by a nap! Momma is getting cowboy cut chops, grilled red taters, salad and grilled corn tonight. I brined these for about 6 hours, dusted with my son's rub and am going to reverse sear them. First time doing chops this thick.

Turned out really well and everyone was happy. Maybe another thread on this cook soon. A lot of work to prepare and cook chops this thick vs some a bit thinner but nonetheless, a great mothers day! Momma got involved and fried the taters... she did good.
