My wife has been working as a RN since 1979. She needs to retire but is still working full time.
Be thankful for good nurses.

There is a bunch of nurse families on this board. All of them deserve a thank you for a trying job working long hours. Mines a critical care nurse in a cardiac unit.

Yep... and they know where things are "spossed" to go and not. AND they handle ALL the stuff doc's won't touch.

I don’t always agree with all these days and months dedicated to this group or that, but nurses certainly deserve our respect and this day of recognition. The sweetest person I ever met in my life, many years ago, is a nurse at a veterans hospital.

And they are the ones that will keep you alive until the Doc can get there from the Golf Course. to tell them what they already know to do.
