The injured buck with a nice right side was under me for the past 20 min. Perfectly broadside until I was able to see my pins. Then walked 15 yds back and stood facing me for 5 min. I just needed him to turn either direction and I could have put him out of his misery. The warrior lives on.

Retrieved my arrow and there is some bright red blood and a little white hair. Thinking liver shot. Giving him time to expire then going back to track around noon

I’m no expert and I didn’t see the arrow, but dark red is usually liver. Either way, sounds promising!
