It's wild radish/mustard, if you wait till spring there's no point in spraying it unless you like spraying multiple times.

Ok, I misunderstood you. So I need to spray it now and the 2-4-db will kill it.

Doom, one more question. MY 50 gal sprayer will do 2 acres on a full tank, what should the mix be per gallon.

3 qts per acre is max, so if your sure it does 2 acres do 6 per tank, make sure it's the 200 formulation and use a non ionic surfactant

Update: you can really tell that it is killing it. Sprayed Monday and checked it yesterday. These plants were still small and growing flat on the ground, now the leafs are sticking up and limp.

The alfalfa looks pretty good but when I came out of the woods last night the deer were all over, hope it makes it to spring.

Make sure you do a soil test soon and put out the required fertilizer. Alfalfa is a picky plant that doesn’t tolerate nutrient deficiencies very well.

Can anyone tell me what this is and what will get rid of it in my alfalfa. There are a few more weeds but this is the one I see the most of.
