I will be interested to see your results. I was looking to build my own black powder rifle this spring/summer now that I am retired. I had never heard of Kibler's. Will check them out.

Quality. The kits from Kibler are so good that anyone can put a kit together and have a fine rifle. He only makes four kits. The Colonial comes two different ways, rifled or smooth bored. The SMR and the newest kit is the Woodsrunner
