Okmulgee river overflow In Juliette

Does anybody catch anything at the Okmulgee river overflow in Juliette, just past the train tracks there?

I grew up down the road from the dam, used to fish and swim all along the river there. Got alot of fish in that area.... But that was 30 years ago. Use to be able to fish the river bank along the river road, but I don't know who owns all that now.

Nice park at the headgates now, had some great times there in high school, but it was alot more grown up then.

Have you fished the Piedmont NWR lakes?

Hey Dutch, thanks for your Responce. No, I have never fished Piedmont NWR lakes. I’m not sure where those lakes are. Are they in middle Georgia somewhere?
