I have a friend in Tennessee he says they are moving into the area where he lives in droves from Florida. From what he told me some of them are okay northerners but most are the arrogant take over type. He hates all of them.

Hiawassee and the Blairsville area was ruined years ago by people from Florida building summer houses up there and then staying permanently , soon as a few outsiders discover a laidback quiet area with good scenery they can't keep their mouth shut, have to go tell everyone and then its no longer the quiet scenic area it was when they first found it !

My wife and I will be moving to Appalachia in less than 18 months. Both of us have SSN's that prove we are just going home. We will bring no ATL or Florida with us.

I cant wait until the day comes that I dont need air conditioner. Wood stove is NOT on the do not need list.
