I have two, compliments of Chehawknapper. Both frames are the same size but the actual beams are different. Small beam for furbearers and furs. Big one for deer hides and larger skins.

You can make a good apron out of visqueen and paracord.

Gotta make me one of these. Plan on tanning a deer hide this year if my son kills his first.
Also tanning some coon hides.

I have a wooden one, but I have also used pieces of 4"-6" PVC pipe with pretty good results.

Buddies use pvc a lot, no divets or holes compared to wood, fits the fleshing knife better too with the curve.
