Please e plain this one to me

I was in my box stand yesterday from about 3:30 till dark. I never seen nor heard a thing. I am back in it this morning and just had 2 gobblers fly of roost. They were rooster in a tree not more than 10-15 yards from my stand. How in the world did they get on the roost yet I never seen nor heard them?

j seph,just having a little joke,if I dish it out, I expect to get it back sometimes too.The first time I heard turkeys going to roost it sounded like the world was coming to an end.

Scared the crap out of me. I thought dadgum tree was falling on stand. The one landed 5' from box, did I mention this box stand is on two foot high legs. Rofl

Something spooked them off the original roost tree. They flew to that one during the night.

They will change roost trees at night.

Figured they were like chickens and couldn't see good enough in the dark

I do know where 3 hens are roosted. They just flew up.
