Problem with a GFCI tool.

I have a wet polisher that has a built-in GFCI plug. It's been working great for the past 2 days this afternoon I tried to turn it on and it ran for about four seconds and shut off. I checked the GFCI everything was great. I flipped it back on and it ran for a second or two and shut off. Then I turned it on no power at all. It seems to go between running for five or six seconds to completely dead. Any suggestions? I checked the brushes and they look brand new. The tool is only a few weeks old

This is the model

Sometimes the plug doesn't make contact in the outlet,,,,try spreading the prongs on the plug a bit,,,,after above checks,,,,voltage etc....try another plug,,,,
