Question for hog doggers

When you guys turn the chase dogs loose and then the catch dogs and have run a while through a property, how does it effect the remaining hogs? Are they skittish for a while or do they vacate the property to get away or what? We just sit in stands over feeders and shoot em and it doesn't really seem to effect the hogs overall. They still return in a few days and start with old habits.

If you run the hogs alot in a short amount of time then yes they will turn nocturnal and they will stay away for awhile. But they will be back after a short time.

Do most of you guys run them in the day or night?

Alot depends on the property. If its thick and wet with plenty of food you'll have a harder time running them off..

hogs are the most unpredictable here a day gone the next or stay awhile and never leave kinda like a woman
