Question for yearly Iowa hunters

I've been going up there to a friend's place for a few yrs now. Zone 9. I could get a tag every 3rd yr like clockwork in years past. I've heard talk of the dnr tightening up on all zones so what you could somewhat count on in years past may not be the case this yr and moving forward. Has anyone experienced this when trying to draw for 2020? Thanks

I hunt zone 9 as well and I haven’t heard anything regarding a reduction in tags. I will be up there this year for late muzzle loader season. I definitely ask about this and see if anyone has heard anything.

Thanks bud. I just want to keep my game plan if possible. My pals up there don't really keep up with what's going on with OOS tags
