Dickey Betts, Allman Brothers guitarist, dies at 80

Betts helped define the Southern rock genre of the ‘60s and ‘70s, and wrote the Allman Brothers Band hit single “Ramblin’ Man."

Was just reading about Dickey, from Bradenton Fla., lived near 41 and influenced by country music. Loved his Ramblin Man and the 7 plus minute Jessica.

My brother lives down there, had Dickey’s son play at his bar. Said he’s talented like his old man
