Season assessment.

I've yet to put anything on the ground myself, but have enjoyed my deer season as well. Seen at least 100 deer and probably 15 or so bucks from the stand, just nothing that really caught my attention to pull the trigger. My son got a nice 8 point, so we have meat in the freezer. I don't expect we will knock anymore down, but I will be back after Xmas to see what is moving around. Sounds like some of yall have had a tremendous year, congrats.

Best season I’ve ever had seen more deer than I ever have , killed my 2nd biggest deer ever , killed a buck and a doe on opener with my 6 yo huntin bud with me …. It’s bout to get REALLY cold I ain’t done yet !!!!

Had a fantastic mule deer hunt this fall. But that hunt coincided with our rut here…

Hunting here has been slow. Got a nice 8 and my bucket list deer with my uncle’s 1907 Colt pistol but it was just a slow, uneventful season.

Been seeing a pile of deer but nothing to even cock the hammer on. We are slap eat up with 2.5-3.5 year old 8 points

I can’t rate this year as my best season, but it has certainly been a great season for us. I’ve shot a decent 7 point and a doe. First buck I’ve shot since 2016. My youngest boy shot his second 10 point and a doe this year. Oldest son has work and school so his time has been limited this year. I have no idea how many deer I’ve seen, I quit counting after 50 bucks. Almost all of them were not legal in our county.
Lots of rut activity, good neighbors and the little bit of land management we do seems to be working. All of this on two tracts totaling 140 acres, I’ll take it.
One more freezer queen and we’ll be set for the year.

Best season ever for me by far, but still trying to get my first GA deer! Got my first Buck in KY Along with 3 does and made jerky that everyone LOVES! I’m outta meat and trying like crazy to get more! I do have a trip to Florida to go after hogs and deer so I still have chances! Fingers crossed!

Haven’t hunted GA this season but SC continues to be awesome. Definitely seeing our management plan working on my farm and looking forward to moving towards the same goals on our leases.

I figured by now I’d get an invite? What the heck man!
