Seasoning a griddle top..

I know it's been discussed before (I'm lazy), what is the best way / fat to use when reseasoning a griddle top after the surface rust has been removed? A BIG Thanks to @Ruger#3 for the gift.. it's about to earn it's keep here shortly.

Here you go, I used Flax Oil but there’s other options.

I use the same thing my Granny used all those years.......Crisco. Use it on my cast iron cookware and my Blackstone.

Canola oil for me.

That was where I was headed.. just wanted to know if anyone had a "up grade".
