SGI Florida next week

I am going down to SGI on Sunday. We are staying on the beach on the East side. I will be fishing from the shore and out of my kayak. Any tips for that area during this time would be appreciated.

Kayak out of the state park I’ve had a lot ofsuccess in rattlesnake cove.

I plan on spending a good deal of time in the Rattle Snake area when I'm there in two weeks. There can be a small run of pompano during the fall, but I'm not seeing many pictures of them yet, anywhere along the coast.

There used to be an area at the end of 6th St East (Bayside) where you could park & follow a trail to some scattered oyster bars to wade fish.

Mostly speckled trout and a few reds under popping corks and gulp baits.

Caught some trout, 1 nice red, and a spanish.
