I would just buy my supplies from Hal and use his recipes and roll them myself. It's not very complicated at all and you get to control quality control! I shoot hals 1.625 ounce load and it's a very nasty pattern out of a sumtoy 562!
Only issues I have experienced with Nitro in the past was the shell not performing correctly. One time squeezed off on 12ga with mature gobbler at 30 yds and sounded like a 22 short going off. personally, I attributted it to moisture might have got in shell at some point. Second time with 16 ga squeezed trigger and nothing happened. forunately, this happend preseason checking my shotgun. Primer had dimple but didn't go off. had other 16ga shells that worked fine. A shame because I really like the patterns of the Nitro shells. I use other shells now and as I am an under 35 yd kind of guy there are other options
