I watched that movie about 50 times in the 70's. Our apartment somehow got free HBO. Good times.

Sally fields was a beauty… and that banquet beer is also special to this day. I wish they still had the long necks tho.

My favorite movie of all time! If they made that move today you know a bunch of these modern people would need a new medication to deal with the trauma upon exiting the theatre.

I grew up around where a lot of that movie was filmed. There are some videos on YouTube of Smokey and the Bandit locations now if you’ve never seen them.

Locations included Lakewood Fairgrounds where the roller coaster deconstruction was included in the movie. Alot of Georgia State Patrol action was filmed on GA 400 before it opened to public travel.
