SOUTH GA HEAT

[HIGH COUNTRY]

I usually wait til almost dark and go out and shoot some, but yesterday I couldnt do it - it was unbelievabley hot.

Went out a couple of hours after dark, and the air was still heavy.

I even have big fan inside my work shed, open both doors and shoot in front of the fan and that still was not enough to get motivated.

I am not a morning person, but being a newbie that needs to shoot every day; I get up at daybreak and shoot some before going back in and getting ready for work. Today I went and got a spotlight and lighted nocks like I saw on Addiction Archery video so I can shoot later at night hoping it willb e a little cooler then - Will find out tonight if it really works out okay...

I sure hope at least the early mornings will start breaking some on the heat in a few weeks...

I agree with you bud, it's been hot. It's hot before daylight. I heard a tree whistle for a dog to come by the other day.

I can shoot 12 yards from my garage into a den/reloading room,storage room.
Nice and cool and it keeps me in tune until I get outside on my 3D deer.
I lock the door coming from the house so my wife doesn't accidently get skewered coming through!
