Sunday Soft Shells

Picked up a box of soft shell crabs at Kenny’s last week. Fried up some tonight and served over some okra gumbo, along with some fried okra, and topped with Wickle Pickle Okra relish. A little shashito pepper appetizer

as a kid, we would walk the pilings with a dip net. A few times we got soft shells. Owners wife cooked up more then a few for us.

I'll take a Blue Crab any way they come but a Soft Shell is hard to beat !!..

Them things make a killer Po' Boy sammich.

I have never actually eaten a softshell crab. Always wanted to, just never had the opportunity.

i LOVE soft shells, ain't cheap though.....i stayed in nags head NC for a week about 2 yrs ago and i eat then everyday....i was in heaven....
