Crock pot deer shanks, carrots, celery, fried cabbage and mashed taters and gravy made from the crock pot liquid the shanks were cooked in. This was mighty tasty.
Fired the flattop up and fried some red potatoes & onions and some steak, onions & peppers while the wife fried some canbage. Everyone did their own thing with the steak-I went Philly quesadilla style!
Browned some boneless chicken thighs, put some taters and the best carrots on the planet from Windy Hill Farm into that pan with some stock, w’shire, onions, garlic and thyme and let it cook for a while. Put the thighs back on top and finished in the oven. Topped with a cream sauce made from garlic, sun dried tomatoes and capers.
