Surf Scoter

Who else has killed a surf scoter in GA. And not being anywhere near the coast.

Got a double on a drake and a hen surf scoter this morning.

Lake blackshear.

Mine were young birds not fully plumed out. Wish they were that good looking. I knew what they were as soon as I seen em. Never in a million years did I expect to shoot one here though

Yep thats probably just as rare as us shooting a Green head a mile off the beach...but it does happen.
