The kings are not where I left them so we took to the bottom for some cobia.

If anyone sees my kings please tell them I miss them and to please come home. No big cobia, but we will take what we can get. Black sea bass bite has picked back up. Averaging twelve keepers on a four hour which I'll take this time of year. Hope everyone has been catching them up! ????

Couldn't buy a king bite last week on the gulf, but snapper cooperated just fine. Way to put some meat in the cooler Capt!

Went right out front of the islands yesterday to see if any spanish have shown up. Trolled for about four hours and gave up and netted up some pogies and moved in to the bars. An hour later hooked up to the first tarpon of the season. While not thick yet, they have already shown up and are busting in the bait balls occasionally.

I retired at 51, while I was young enough to enjoy just chillin, before the urgency of impending death sets in. It was the first time we had tried, so I wanted to give it a chance. Tarpon aren't going anywhere for a while.
