Those buggers go way up north!! Amazing isn’t it? I remember seeing hundreds or more leaving NW Pa back in the 1900’s

Beautiful capture-Got caught up in the migration one year traveling through Missouri. Literally thousands of them headed South! Was a sight to see.

They don’t. They lay eggs as they go along. Most die before they get to the gulf and are replaced by newly hatched butterflies
