Got drawn for a hunt at Dilane. Got an email saying this hunt is paperless. What does that mean in regards to check in for the hunt and checking a deer if I am lucky enough?
At Ossabaw they keep track of your name and animal killed and then put a tag on the animal. Not sure how they keep someone from killing more than 2. @BBond probably knows.
Don't/Haven't work Ossabaw but on Cedar Creek and others we have the hunters name for each deer checked out. Easy to see who's checked out two that way.
Good luck this season
Don't sweat it. Go to the check-in station when you arrive and tell DNR staff that you've been drawn and will be hunting. They'll take your name, confirm that you've been drawn for the hunt and you're good to go.
