Bonus Hunt

Going on a bonus hunt soon and unfamiliar with rules on having harvested deer checked in. Can the deer be field dressed before the check in or does the DNR want to record a weight before hand?

The bonus hunts I’ve been on they just estimate live weight. Gutting, or even quartering has always been fine.
