TN - Smallies

Went up to Kingsport, TN w/ my fly guide for Smallies. Not the best weather for Fly Fishing, but landed about 24 or so (only about 5 on Popper). I will try again next year. Fun fish!

Heading to Minnesota tomorrow to chase the Coho run but will be targeting smallmouth too. Meeting a buddy who is an outdoors writer who says he knows of some jam up smallmouth spots to fish. I hope to find some as nice as the ones you caught.

Just spent a week up at the shack in the hills. Caught about 25 of these yesterday bank fishing with an XRap (wouldn't give anything else a hard look) in about an hour and a half.

Edit: I just figured out this was a fly fishing thread. Mine were all on an ultra light. But I'll leave it because seeing fish pics is pretty cool anyway.
